Relaro Medical Trials is an experienced dedicated clinical research facility located in Dallas, Texas. 

Our patients are our utmost priority and we ensure their experience is backed by our appreciation, attentiveness, and consideration for privacy and safety. All members of our staff are highly trained in conducting clinical research and are experienced in all GCP guidelines set fourth.  Our goal is to offer the best in clinical care, and in return we hope to make a difference in our patient’s lives.

Our clinical trials are conducted in an array of therapeutic areas including, but not limited to: Depression, Flu, Vaccine, Diabetes, Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation and Healthy Volunteer studies.



Our team’s experience assures there is a strong a focus on patient safety and retention while also providing clean clinical trial data to our sponsors and CRO’s. Our dedicated staff has several years of experience working in the clinical research industry

Dr. Michael Shiekh

Dr. Shiekh graduated from Baylor College of medicine in 1999, and completed his residency in Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center where he served as chief resident and was selected as the outstanding graduating resident of his class.

During his career he has carefully selected the positions he has worked in; positions which he believes have made the most significant contribution towards o supporting the health of his patients. These positions include working with HIV positive patients and as a Telepsychiatrist at JSA Health where he provides emergency and on-demand psychiatric services such as emergent, urgent and routine evaluations for patients in settings where it might otherwise be difficult for them to receive treatment.

Dr. Shiekh operates his own private practice where he provides outpatient therapy and medication management to individuals, couples and families in the Dallas area. As a Principal Investigator/Medical Director of RMT, he is passionate about his involvement in supporting the discovery of new medications for future treatments of psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Vipin P. Kuriachan

Dr. Vipin P. Kuriachan is a practicing ophthalmologist in the Dallas area. Dr. Kuriachan works with his patients to discuss all options, including medications, laser procedures, and/or surgical operations to give them the best vision and hence the best quality of life possible.

Dr. Kuriachan attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering where he graduated with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. He attended medical school at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. Shortly after, Dr. Kuriachan moved to the Chicago area to attend Loyola School of Medicine for his preliminary year in Internal Medicine. Finally, he moved back to Texas and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Over the course of both his academic and professional career, Dr. Kuriachan has received a number of awards and accolades, including the Excellence in Community Outreach Award from the president of his medical school for his work in underserved areas.

In addition to his career as an ophthalmologist, Dr. Kuriachan also loves acting and received an award for Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role from the Texas A&M Performing Arts Department. Along with that, he is thankful to have two lovely women to spend his life with: his wife and daughter.

Dr. Steffini Stalos

Dr. Steffini Stalos, DO, MS, FCAP has been an Investigator with Relaro Medical Trials since 2014 as well as a private practice Consultant and Laboratory Director for many biologics entities,medical facilities, and blood product collection sites.

She completed her Residency in Clinical Pathology, and her Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2008. She has teaching experience in Pathology for Medical and PA students at the University of North Texas Health Science Center as well as Massive Transfusion, and a lab on Coagulation Disorders.

Dr. Stalos is very passionate about her expertise and role at Relaro Medical and continues to provide support to the advancement of patient care.

Dr. Alice Tang

Dr. Alice Tang, DO, MPH, RDMS graduated from University of Maryland Medical System in 2006 and has been an Investigator with Relaro Medical Trials since 2014. She is also an Attending Physician at Baylor University Medical Center, where she coordinates and directs patient care in an emergency medicine department as well as directing and maintaining the ultrasound program.

She has teaching experience in Physical Diagnosis, Emergency Ultrasound, Disease Emergencies, and UMMS Emergency Departments.

Dr. Tang is a highly skilled medical professional and team player who continues to provide a great benefit to the advancement of medical research at Relaro Medical Trials.

Dr. Tina Ali-Mohammad

Dr. Tina Ali Mohammad is a ABPN Board Certified psychopharmacologist and psychotherapist with training in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and group therapy. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2010 and completed Residency in General Psychiatry from UT Southwestern in 2014 where she was the recipient of the Andreeson Award in psychotherapy and Medical Student Teaching.

In addition to her work at Relaro, she treats patients in rural areas with limited access to doctors through telemedicine at JSA Health.

Renee LaRoque
Site Director

Ms. LaRoque has her own philosophy that drives everything she does: “The quality and integrity of clinical research is imperative to the progression of medicine, and I am enthusiastic about the difference I make in the lives of patients.” Ms. LaRoque attributes her success to perseverance, a genuine belief in her ability to do anything she sets her mind to, an amazing team of Investigators and clinic team members, the support of her awesome family and friends, the love she gets from her two small dogs, and LOTS of caffeine.

Keesha Branch
Phlebotomist/Lab Director

Ms. Branch is responsible for knowing all research protocols and ensuring that protocol procedures are precisely followed. This includes appropriate documentation, processing complex lab samples and shipping lab samples per protocol. Ms. Branch’s responsible also include maintaining inventory of and ordering lab supplies, monitoring lab equipment and recording lab data.

Tamara Marshall
Administrative Research Assistant

Ms. Marshall has over 15 years within the medical/health industry and has a strong passion for helping others. She believes that in order to succeed in life you must be willing to do whatever it takes and to learn ways in which your voice impacts your work in a more positive light. She loves sports, reading, cooking and spending time with family/friends. Ms. Marshall lives by the Golden Rule and states that it has worked very well for her in regards to her personal life, career and professional relationships. Ms. Marshall looks forward to continuing her passion for helping others as well as expanding her knowledge within the medical field.

Jessica Montgomery
Clinical Research Coordinator

Ms. Montgomery is a Research Coordinator that started coordinating studies in 2014 with a research specialty in Ophthalmology. She is also a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a major in Spanish. She is outgoing, motivated, and has excellent interpersonal skills. She moved to the Dallas area in February 2016 with her almost 3 year old daughter and enjoys exploring the area, spending time with her family, and traveling.
